As we enter phase two of the UK government restrictions, we would like again to extend our very best well-wishes and thoughts, to all Crabtree customers around the world…
In line with the latest Government recommendations we are moving closer and closer to being back to our full operation.
We are delighted to let you know that we are operating at an almost FULL workforce capacity once more; and have begun to implement our increase capacity program across almost all areas of manufacture, design and management, coupled with additional shift patterns to meet an increase in demand and additional customer requirements.
During this time we have also been developing our technologies within our product portfolio and will have some exciting announcements in the coming weeks around our Crabtree Vision Systems.
We want to reassure you all that Crabtree is still very operational, whilst adhering to UK government recommendations, moreover implementing a variety of additional protocols and health notices to protect against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Essential Production Teams current production forecast:
- Capital machinery, minimal disruption, reviewing position daily
- After sales spares, currently operating as normal, fulfilling all open orders first and foremost, at 98% plan vs. actual
- Advanced stock, currently 82% of all spares orders are direct from stock
- Shipments… work continues with reliable partners, and with the shipping department still on site, disruption has been kept to minimum
We have an extensive remote working & service support team in place, covering all Crabtree departments, as our core product is generally supplied to the FMCG food and beverage industry, thus requiring us to be on hand to keep the equipment in production.
Note: All travelling Service Engineers (global service support team) are on stand down or remote working until further notice. Telephone, email and video conference support in place, our time is FREE as usual
